NHS Scholarship

NASSP, the parent organization of the National Honor Society, has awarded the NHS Scholarship since 1946, providing more than $14 million in scholarships to outstanding NHS members. Now in its 72nd year, the program provides $2 million annually in scholarship awards. With 600 total recipients, national semifinalists will receive $3,200 while finalists will receive $5,265. One national winner will receive $25,000.

All NHS high school seniors in good standing from an affiliated NHS chapter may apply for the scholarship. "Seniors in good standing" refers to 12th graders who have maintained the standards by which they were accepted for and who are meeting their chapter obligations. There are currently no income eligibility requirements.
