Health Office Overview

School Nurse
The school nurse is available for health counseling and emergencies. If a student has an accident or other health emergency, the student should ask a teacher or another student to accompany him/her immediately to the health office located in the guidance center.

La Quinta High School has two (2) part time health aides that assist the nurse.  

Nurse: Michelle Rymer - 714-663-6375

Health Aid: Patricia Lopez-Bates - (7:30am-11:00am)

Health Aid: Dino Selder - (11:15am- 2:45pm)

Medical Needs & Exemptions
If a student is unable to participate in Physical Education because of a medical reason you must bring a note from the doctor indicating the limitations. If a student is unable to attend school for an extended period of time because of medical issues, arrangements can be made for home instruction. Bring a note from the doctor requesting home teaching and the duration of time home teaching is needed, to the health office at La Quinta.
Immunization Requirements
Prior to a student entering La Quinta High School, they must complete their immunizations.  Please click here to find out more or select "Immunization Requirements" from the menu to the right.
