District and School Response and Impact Regarding the Corona Virus

Good morning La Quinta families, staff and students, As many of you are aware, the news regarding the Corona Virus changes both daily and hourly. Here is the latest information so you are up to date as March 12, 2020 at 8:50 am. - There are NO cases of COVID-19 on our campus or in the district. - At least through the end of March, gatherings of 250 people or more are to be cancelled or postponed This will impact scheduled events as we follow these guidelines. Moving forward, for the month of March, the following events will be cancelled or postponed : all performances, parent meetings, award nights, field trips, banquets and athletics (home and away games). We will update you on specific events as it relates to each group. In the meantime, our custodians have been diligently working to maintain a clean campus with a particular focus on items like restrooms, door handles and other common hard area surfaces. As a reminder: *Be sure to wash your hands thoroughly and regularly *Cough/sneeze into a tissue *If you are feeling ill or have flu-like symptoms, please stay home
