La Quinta Graduation Walk 2022

Throughout the hallways and across the campus of Thomas Paine Elementary School, La Quinta High School Class of 2022 were met with cheers.



Congratulations to our Class of 2022 La Quinta High School Valedictorian William Tran who was presented to the GGUSD Board of Education.

La Quinta’s Boys Tennis team is Garden Grove league CHAMPION! The Aztecs finished the regular season with a perfect 8-0 league record to secure the program’s 25th league title.

La Quinta's Boys Volleyball team finished 9-1 in league to secure the title - Garden Grove League CHAMPIONS!


Our HOSA team had 18 students placed in the top 5 in the state in their respective events, 10 of these students placed in the top 3 for California and will be able to move on to the International Competition in Nashville in June. CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR HOSA TEAM!


Our HOSA team left for their competition this morning. 34 students qualified for Round 2!! Good luck the rest of the competition!




La Quinta High School was recently named a Unified Champion School by the Special Olympics Southern California for its unified physical education program that
brings general education and special education students together for physical education activities.

The La Quinta High School Marching Aztecs were nominated to perform in the 2023 Independence Day Parade in Washington, D.C.

Representative Michelle Steel came to campus to present them with a certificate!
She was also welcomed by La Quinta administrators and GGUSD Board of Education President Bob Harden, Vice President Lan Quoc Nguyen, and Trustee Teri Rocco.


The band welcomed Michelle Steel with a rousing performance and she expressed how proud she was of them for their achievements.
