I was born in the Philippines and lived there until I was 9 years old before moving to Los Alamitos, California. I graduated from Saint John Bosco High School in Bellflower California where I played football, basketball, and ran track. I enlisted in the United States Navy from 1984 to 1988 where I worked as a helicopter mechanic. I attended California State University, Chico and received my BS in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing. I worked for Southern Wine and Spirits as a sales representative for 5 years then worked for Oakley sunglasses the following year before deciding to pursue a carreer in education, which I believe is my true calling. I then received my credential from Azusa Pacific University and am one class shy of receiving my masters degree in Adminstration. My first teaching assignment was at Elsinore High School before I came to La Quinta 9 years ago. I coached varsity football for 4 years and now teach Math/Business classes and currently coach girls JV Soccer. I consider myself truely lucky to be working at La Quinta where students, faculty, and staff, make the working environment humorous and enjoyable, and working  relationships evolve into life long friends.
