Biography

I was born in the Philippines and lived there until I was 9 years old before moving to Los Alamitos, California.  I graduated from Saint John Bosco High School in Bellflower California where I played football, basketball, and ran track.  I enlisted in the United States Navy from 1984 to 1988 where I worked as a helicopter mechanic.  I attended California State University, Chico and received my BS in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing.  I worked for Southern Wine and Spirits as a sales representative for 5 years then worked for Oakley sunglasses the following year before deciding to pursue a carreer in education,  which I believe is my true calling.  I then received my credential from Azusa Pacific University.   My first teaching assignment was at Elsinore High School before I came to La Quinta 17 years ago. I am currently part of the Business department these last two years and loving it. Prior to that, I taught Algebra and Geometry for 16 years and currently teach Accounting, Personal Finance, Marketing, and Business Law.  I consider myself truly lucky to be working at La Quinta where students, faculty, and staff make the working environment humorous and enjoyable. La Quinta is an amazing school where staff and students create an electric climate where experiences and acquaintances develop into life long relationships with positive impacting influence.
