Officer applications are accepted each spring. Apps for the 2024-2025 term closed on March 8, 2024. To learn more about officer positions and responsibilities, talk to any current officer or Mrs. Dinh.
AVID Club officers learn innumerable skills and develop leadership qualities, such as
- collaborating effectively
- communicating with adults and other community members
- presenting in front of large groups
- completing various Bookstore forms
- taking meeting minutes
- delegating tasks
- problem solving
- serving as person-in-charge at service events
AVID Club officers sign a Code of Ethics and are expected to serve as role models for their peers.
