This was the first short film assignment for the year; a Documentary. Students were instructed to create a unique and interesting documentary idea and piece together something entertaining and informative using music, dialogue, actors, B-roll, motion graphics, etc. This dramatic documentary was created by Brooke Tran, Justin Le, and Kenny Tran.

School culture is a feeling it's an identity it's connectedness its School culture is what makes you want to be a part of a community great GPA these seem to be the only words in the vocabulary of a student at La Quinta High School now it is when you go to the game band cheer and that's not their fault mostly because I experience with miserable everyday. and who is to blame the teachers admin what is causing article closer to the only academic and there must be a change I believe the school culture cannot just be defined as to one strength that La Quinta has and as of right now the emphasis seems to only be our academics in our drive to it's just every kid going to college CSR education was by far I priority but the Athletics the clubs that we belong to the you know the that we met our first dance our first kiss successes that we had in and out of the classroom and I think just the relationships that we developed along the way while we were in high school and they don't really push us in more of the creative Direction in high school and to explore multiple facets that were supposed to be able to explore so focus on grades that admitted they pushing so hard in that direction that I feel that really kind of ignore the other the other aspects of being in high school so like there's so many things that are possible in high school that you can do besides just doing your homework showing up to class like taking all the tests and so I feel that it's our Administration was able to basically close the gap between themselves and the student and be able to encourage us to do more than just bring our Gray live our lives as I supposed to do that would be so much more beneficial for food in admin that would create such a better atmosphere for everybody at her school and it would definitely increase our school culture and school spirit schools about the students so if you talk to any anybody will say that the reason why we got into this business is for the kids and the so School culture having to do with the students is important because there is a balance for the students there are a lot of trends that happen for young people but there's a lot of tradition that happens in high school so in terms of the students I think there's a trendsetters and I think that the adults hold on to a lot of the tradition cuz they flip through it longer than the students have important when you're looking at both students and staff and you're talking specifically about Administration right here that we work together to make sure that what is trending and what is popular dance right now is validated braided into our Student Activities and student life but also that students have the experiences that are traditional to high school so for example prom is something that is a tradition of high school most recently say I've reached out to us and said we have an opportunity for our kids to participate in the East Wars exhibition I will never forget the end of that competition have the cafeteria I really like everybody you couldn't help us it's just very very important that we look at what kids really want to do the role of the administrator is to make sure that we facilitate structures for able to get what they want but I'll also address this because this is something very frustrating for me as an administrator something understand is we want you guys to really enjoy your high school experience and if we ever make a decision that you don't agree with you come and talk with us cuz usually there's something behind it I just personally think that if it starts with the students you know this teachers will help Foster that but it can't be a trickle down from the top it can't be it can't start from Administration and come down
