Mission Statement
History Club is one of La Quinta’s first-ever clubs on campus that specialize in promoting the social sciences! Specifically, we seek to deepen students’ understanding in history by focusing on aspects that are usually obscured and building upon topics that are often nuanced compared to an average history textbook.
We are committed to providing students with a plethora of opportunities to enrich themselves with such a multi-faceted subject, including field trips to historical landmarks, competitions, and more. Our fervent hope is that members will have a newfound appreciation for history.
Our mission is to revolutionize the way students view history, to not just look at it as a relic of the past, but as the catalyst for the present and an indicator of the future. As History Club makes La Quinta history (no pun intended) as a platform where students can indulge in their appreciation for the subject, we hope that in the coming years, we will be able to grow and further spread that message to all La Quinta students.
