I am looking forward to having a productive year with you. The following course outline and rules are to help you understand my expectations. Overall, you should know that you will be held accountable for your behavior, class materials, all assignments, and your grade. Throughout the year, you will be exposed to various types of literature including short stories, poetry, and novels, as well as a range of genres within each of these categories. In addition to the literature, students will be required to write both processed and timed writings. In connection with these writing assignments, we will focus on mastering writing conventions in order to improve each student’s writing skills.
