Teacher Bio

After earning a B.A. in English from Sonoma State University, I moved to rural Japan for two years, where I taught English to elementary and junior high school students. Upon my return to the States, I completed a single-subject teaching credential in English and an M.A. in Teaching at Chapman University. The 2023-2024 school year marks my 13th year of teaching (and my eighth year at LQ).

 

I teach English 1H, AVID 11, and AVID 12 and I am AVID Coordinator as well as the advisor for AVID Club and the Class of 2025.

 

Outside of school, I enjoy traveling, hiking, reading, and spending time with my husband and two sons.
