Parent Education Workshops
Good morning, LQ families! Starting on Wednesday, April 17, we will be offering in-person PESA (Parent Expectations Support Achievement) classes in the evenings, from 5:30 - 7:00 p.m. There will be a total of 5 workshops for you to attend, one each week for 5 weeks. We will be covering various skills and interactions to help your children achieve academic success. As an added incentive, your students can earn Aztec Pride Cards based on your weekly attendance at these sessions. These cards can go into a drawing for prizes.
Sessions will be offered in English, with simultaneous translation available in Spanish, Vietnamese, and Arabic - April 17, 24, May 1, 8, and 15, from 5:30-7:00 p.m. If you have any questions, please reach out to me, Melissa Dela-Xiong (Parent and Family Engagement Teacher) at [email protected].
