Bienvenue Au Cercle Francais, La Quinta
Le Cercle Francais, the French club at La Quinta, sponsors events for students and members interested in French language and culture.
Students in Le Cercle Francais explore cultural aspects of France and the French-speaking world.
Typical activities involve sampling French foods, celebrating French holidays, field trips to French restaurants, museums, ice skating events and listening to French music.
Any student that is interested in learning more about France and French-speaking countries is eligible to join.

Duties for French Club Officers

President-Primarily responsible, with the vice-president for planning and organizing meetings. In charge of running the meetings on club day and making sure that the other officers carry out their duties.

 
Vice-President-Responsible, with the president, for planning and organizing meetings. In charge of running the meeting on club day if the president is absent.

 
Secretary-Helps president and vice-president plan meetings. Takes attendance at meetings. Takes care of all written correspondence for the club (i.e., sending notices to members about upcoming events).

 
Treasurer-Helps president and vice-president plan meetings. Responsible for purchasing any items needed for meetings.

 
All officers must be available to meet with Ms.Sarkis to plan meetings.
