Objectives:

There are several important topics within Advanced Algebra and Trigonometry.  We will concentrate on the following topics during the first semester: systems of linear equations, quadratics, polynomials, and rational expressions.

Class Goals

1.                  To master the intermediate concepts of Algebra and Trigonometry and explore their depth.

2.                  To develop analytic thinking and problem solving ability.

3.                  To learn to mathematically reason and calculate and appropriately apply such skills.
