Course Description
Overview: This course is an introduction to the world of law. You will investigate the responsibilities of citizens as the law relates to your lives in everyday situations. The following areas will be of major focus: (1) the laws relating to business transactions
(2) civil cases (3) understanding legal proceedings (4) different aspects of criminal law.
There are many group assignments and case studies. The course will serve as a background for other business courses you may take in high school and in college and will aid you in the understanding of your rights in relation to your everyday life, employment, and business.
