Evaluate the decisions of European countries in reaction to German aggression and expansion prior to and at the outbreak of WWII. Below are the results for the last event if you didn't finish them all in class and I've attached the directions for your evaluation below.   • Vichy France – Supported the Nazis in Battle of Britain. The Free French forces helped Britain.
  • Soviet Union – Supported Britain, but did not participate.
  • United States – Transferred 50 American destroyers to the British navy and loaned it money for defense.
  • Poland – Four squadrons of Polish pilots fought for the British.
  • Switzerland – remained neutral, but continued defense plans.
