The Common Application Online is a free online undergraduate application used by over 400 colleges and universities. Many private and out-of-state colleges and universities utilize the Common App as their admissions application. Please click here for full instructions on navigating the Common App.

The California State University (CSU) requires seniors take the English Placement Test (EPT) and the Entry Level Mathematics (ELM) exam prior to enrollment in the CSU. The last test available is May 4th and the deadline to register is April 19th. Please click here for the ELM/EPT registration site or the EAP site to check your EAP scores.

Seniors may begin applying for CA Community Colleges at www.cccapply.org. Please click here for instructions and more information.

Seniors who have completed the FAFSA may begin viewing their Cal Grant award status at https://mygrantinfo.csac.ca.gov. Please click here for detailed instructions on creating a WebGrants account and viewing your Cal Grant award status.

Seniors may now begin filing for financial at WWW.FAFSA.ED.GOV. Please click here for step-by-step instructions on completing the FAFSA.

Students who complete four-years of a world language or pass an AP exam in a language other than English may be eligible for the Seal of Biliteracy, which provides evidence of skills to future employers and college admission offices. Students may also take an exam at La Quinta to prove your proficiency in Vietnamese to earn the Seal of Biliteracy. If you would like to take the Vietnamese language proficiency exam, please sign-up in the counseling office.

All seniors applying to universities must send their official ACT and SAT test scores to the schools they applied to. Most deadlines for students to send their test scores are in January. Your applications will be revoked if colleges do not receive your scores from collegeboard.com and act.org. Please click here for directions to release your ACT scores to all CSUs.

All students applying to CSUs will receive a letter in the mail or email with their assigned student ID and password to log onto online student accounts for each campus they applied to. This is the only form of communication CSUs will utilize to inform you of your status, to do lists and financial aid. Click here for instructions to how to create and navigate CSUF's portal.
