Cell Phone/Electronic Device Policy

ELECTRONIC DEVICES, including cell phones must remain off and put away during class time unless permitted by the teacher. Electronic devices that are confiscated will be returned only to a parent or guardian the following school day. Example: If a phone is taken on a Friday, it can be picked up on Monday. Devices that are confiscated a second time will be kept in the Attendance Office until the end of the semester. The school assumes no responsibility or liability for confiscated, lost or stolen electronic devices. The school will not investigate reports of lost or stolen electronic devices. Students and parents will be encouraged to file a police report.  Phones are subject to search by administrators, with reasonable cause (discipline/safety reasons).
