PSAT/NMSQT Test Information

PSAT/NMSQT Test Information Attention Students! Want to increase your chances of getting into college! Practice makes perfect! Help prepare for the SAT by taking the PSAT this October 15, 2014 at LQ. By taking practice SAT’s you can become familiar with the kinds of questions and the exact directions you will see on the SAT and get a projected score for the SAT. The PSAT will also provide you with feedback on your strengths and weaknesses. Freshmen and juniors interested in taking the PSAT may pay $14 to the bookstore. Juniors who qualify for a fee waiver may sign-up in the counseling office. All sophomores take the PSAT free of charge on October 15th. Hurry, space is limited!!!

La Quinta After School ROP Course - Art of Graphic Design Interested in taking a course after school? Need a visual/performing art class for college? The Art of Graphic design is open to all La Quinta students this fall. The course meets on Tues. & Thurs. from 3:15pm to 5:15pm in room 239. Please sign-up in the counseling office.
Seal of Biliteracy for Graduating Seniors

Seal of Biliteracy for Graduating Seniors Students who complete four-years of a world language may be eligible for the Seal of Biliteracy, which provides evidence of skills to future employers and college admission offices. Students may also pass an AP exam in a language other than English to earn a seal of biliteracy, or if your home language is Vietnamese, you may take the Vietnamese language proficiency test to earn your seal of biliteracy in Vietnamese. Seniors may sign-up for the Vietnamese language proficiency test at La Quinta in the counseling office.
