Have you noticed that your student might need a little extra support? Have you worried your student may be stressed? Whether it’s high stakes testing, conflict with friends, having a difficult time communicating with your student, or other common teen stressors, we are pleased to announce that our first Parent Power School session of the school year will help address some of these questions. Our wonderful School Psychologist, Mr. Johnathan Vu, will lead our English and Vietnamese parents through how to recognize and support students through challenges our kids face as a teenager, while School Psychologist Noelle Funes will lead our Spanish speaking parents. The meeting starts at 6:30pm on Wednesday, October 18th, 2017 in the Cafeteria. All languages will meet together at first and then we will break down into language groups. For your convenience, a second session will be offered for our Vietnamese speaking parents with School Psychologist Johnathan Vu on Thursday, October 19th at 8:00am in the cafeteria.
