	AP Testing Schedule Advanced Placement (AP) tests begin Monday, May 7th and will continue through Thursday, May 17th. This year La Quinta has over 500 students taking over 1,170 AP exams! Please see inside for a full schedule of exams with locations and times.
	CST Testing Schedule April 30 to May 18, 2012 we will be having CST Testing. Please see attached for special schedule. Please make sure you have plenty of rest and eat well during these days. Good Luck!
	Senior Prom 2012 "Somewhere Only We Know" Date: Friday, May 25th Time: 8pm Location: 7 Degrees - 891 Laguna Canyon Rd., Laguna Beach, CA 92651 ***Student must attend school on Friday, May 25th, in order for them to attend Prom. We will have an attendance list at the door and will refuse entry to any student who was absent. See Mr. Azcona for further questions.
	Grad Night 2012 at Disneyland Date: Thursday, June 21st Time: 10:00am to 3:00am Location: Disneyland Price: $61.00 Tickets sold on senior stage during lunch...Last day to buy is May 2nd. Make checks payable to "Aztec Grad Night Foundation." Permission slips must be turned in on day seniors pick up diplomas to get the actual ticket. ***This is not a school sponsored event. Students are not provided a bus. They can enter Disneyland at any time during the day. The park will close at 10:00 to the general public and only Grad night guests will be able to stay. 	Photography & Multimedia Show Results 2012! The images were judged for the 2012 Laguna Beach Photography Show as well as the Huntington Beach Show on Tuesday, April 10th by professional photographer and college instructor Tom Lamb and his assistant.
	Garden Grove Administrators Association Community Dinner A special dinner hosted by Garden Grove Administrators Association was held on April 9. This dinner is to thank parents who support their schools. Pictured with the LQ Administrators are Trinh Pham, Diana Le, Kim Lan Truong, and Liz and Mike Erhardt. Thank you for your contributions to La Quinta. La Quinta Band was the opening entertainment for this event.
	La Quinta Debate Team Ten LQ Debate students competed in the State Qualifying Tournament at Oxford Academy on March 3rd and 4th. The top 4 winners in this tournament will represent Orange County at the State Tournament in San Francisco. Among 18 participanting teams, LQ Won the following: Amanda Nguyen & Duong Vo won 4th Place Matthew Le and Luis Martinez won 6th Place Nancy Nguyen and Alison Le won 7th Place Team Amanda Nguyen and Duong Vo advance to State Debate Tournament on April 26th in San Francisco. Congratulations to all debate members! Thank you for representing La Quinta in debate tournaments.
	La Quinta'a Academic Decathlon team wins division title at Orange County Academic Decathlon - Advances to State Finals The team representing La Quinta High School from the Garden Grove Unified School District captured first place in the Division 2 at the 44th Annual Orange County Academic Decathlon (OCAD) competition.
