My College QuickStart is an online college and career planning kit available free of charge to all students who take the PSAT/NMSQT. Seniors! Remember to Send your SAT and ACT Scores!
Seniors applying to Universities must send their SAT and ACT scores to be eligible. Seniors planning to take the December SAT or ACT should go into their CollegeBoard or ACT account now and select colleges to receive their scores. Scores will then be submitted after the exam. Remember you do not have to wait for your scores to submit college applications. (More Instructions Inside)

6 La Quinta students have their mural hung in the new Appellate Courthouse in Santa Ana
Phuong Pham represented the students at the reception honoring the the artists at the courthouse on October 13,2009. The other students involved in the project were: George Bernal, Fritzi Bui, MyTran Dang,Alexa Ferguson, and Viet To.

On Saturday and Sunday, October 3 and 4, ten members of La Quinta Debate Club (2 veterans and 8 rookies) competed in the Jack Howe Debate Tournament at Cal State Long Beach.

 It is hard to believe that summer has drawn to a close and fall is officially upon us. I hope that you had a wonderful summer and return to school re-
freshed and ready to work hard. Throughout the summer we have worked hard painting and carpeting classrooms, disposing of old furniture, cleaning floors and windows, upgrading facilities and preparing enthusiastically for the new academic year. Now, having welcomed new and returning students, our focus is on continuing the academic excellence that resulted in an aca- demic performance index of 865. You can all be very proud!
