In 2002, earned Teaching Credential in Business from Cal State Fullerton .

In 1998, Graduated from Chapman University in Orange, CA with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance and Management. At Chapman he played on the Football team for 2 years and played in the Winter and Summer Soccer seasons.

In 1994, graduated from Troy High School in Fullerton, CA. Played Varsity Football, Soccer, and Baseball. Won league championships in all 3 sports. Was First Team All-League in Soccer and Football. Was awarded 2nd Team All-County in Football his senior year. Was awarded "Cutest Smile" in the yearbook. Also awarded "Most Attractive". Also awarded "Most Athletic". Also awarded "Most Tall". Had a luscious full head of curly dark brown hair. Emphasis on the luscious.

Graduated with a 3.71 GPA. Scored 1180 out of 1600 on his SATs. Never took an AP class or Honors class in High School. But did get accepted to UCI, UCSB, UCR, UCSD, USC, Pepperdine University and Chapman University. Accepted to those schools because he had a diverse high school transcript. He wasn't just a student, he was involved in sports, clubs, and had a job. There is more to getting into college than ONLY taking advanced classes. It's about being diversified and involved in different things. EVERYONE is a student. But ONLY A FEW are Students who are also Athletes, Club Members, Employees, Assistant Coaches, Volunteers, Teacher Aides, etc. Word up. That's why Business Classes and Pathways help you get a job AND get into college.

Mr. Ruzzi started his teaching career at La Quinta.  The 2000-2001 school year was when it all began.

Charted, a film by Alex

This was a movie project in Mr. Ruzzi's Digital Media Honors class that required the students to come up with a movie script/story that also incorporated Tracking using After Effects and unique Transition elements in their filming. This was Alex's masterpiece. Enjoy!

Short film by Simon, Andy and Khang

In this short film project, students were asked to incorporate Green Screen in their filming and to use unique transitions while they shoot the video. This obviously turned out great! A great story. With amazing visuals. And they completed the project requirements to perfection.

Digital Media Arts (DMA) & Business PROMO

Many have asked, what do you do in your Digital Media Honors classes. So, with the help of one of my DMA extraordinaires, we put together a video that visually shows you some of the things we do/have done in these classes. * We also do some amazing things in our Business courses (although it's a little more difficult to show in a video)... such as Product Design, Advertising Campaigns, Investing $, understanding $, overall general Business wisdom, Business ethics, Resume creation, computer skills, DECA, earn college credits, AND MORE. 7 Seconds of Freedom _ explained

Occasionally, the Aztec Broadcast Channel will give the students and staff the opportunity to say/show/do anything they want (within reason) on camera... and we will put it in one of our monthly broadcasts. Hello everyone! My Advanced Multi-Media HONORS students are proud to introduce the ABC (Aztec Broadcast Channel). Here is our very first Broadcast ever. And our first for the 2018-2019 school year. School Culture: a look into La Quinta High School

This was the first short film assignment for the year; a Documentary. Students were instructed to create a unique and interesting documentary idea and piece together something entertaining and informative using music, dialogue, actors, B-roll, motion graphics, etc. This dramatic documentary was created by Brooke Tran, Justin Le, and Kenny Tran.

This was the first short film assignment for the year; a Documentary. Students were instructed to create a unique and interesting documentary idea and piece together something entertaining and informative using music, dialogue, actors, B-roll, motion graphics, etc. This was created by Amy, Randy, and David.
