Hello parents and students!

I graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor of science degree in physics from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, with a minor in mathematics.  I have been teaching science at La Quinta since 2011.

I ran cross country and track all through high school and college.  I still have an interest in the sport and help coach the cross country team here.  If you can run anything from a mile to a marathon faster than I can/have I will give you a big high five.  Sorry, no extra credit, that just wouldn't be legal.

Physics can be a pretty tough subject, so I expect that we stay on topic and work hard.  But I like to have some fun and humor in the class as well.

My class schedule for the 2023-24 school year is:

AP Physics 1: Periods 1,2,4,5

AP Physics 2: Period 3

The course syllabus and class expectations are attached in the Resources for the Whole Year topic at the bottom of the Classwork section of the Google Classroom for your class.

Parents, to check graded assignments you can access them via the Parent Portal.
