Biotechnology

The Biotechnology pathway focuses on understanding and solving biomedical problems and creating products to improve the quality of human life.

As of the 2022-23 school year, La Quinta is the only GGUSD high school to offer Biotechnology!

Congratulations to La Quinta High School HOSA for their amazing work at the 2023 HOSA State Leadership Conference in Sacramento where they competed with about 3,500 students!

We had a total of 62 competitors in seven different events. After countless hours of studying and practice, 29 students placed in the Top 10 in their respective events, with 14 of them placing in the Top 5! We wish the competitors passing onto the International Leadership Conference in Dallas, TX the best of luck in June! A special shout out to those competitors who placed Top 5 in their events:
