La Quinta Aztecs Basketball has a long and rich history.  The Aztecs won the CIF Championship in 1980.  La Quinta has won 12 League Championships and has over 20 CIF Playoff appearances.  The Aztec Family has sent 17 former student-athletes to play at the college level.  La Quinta is the home of former NBA player Johnny Rogers. We are also the home of Scott Campbell and Nathan Barker who continued played at the professional league in Germany.

Over the years, our team has played in 15 tournaments outside California.  La Quinta has traveled to Arizona, Florida, Hawaii, and Nevada.  These trips are a large part of the history of La Quinta Basketball.

In recent years, the Aztecs won the Garden Grove League Championship in 2019. In 2022, our team went to the semifinal game of CIF playoffs and went on to reach the Regional Final in the State Tournament. We are proud of our successes and will work to continue to pursue excellence.
