Computer Resource Assistants (CRA)
Computer Resource Assistants repair and maintain the technology at La Quinta High School. Faculty and staff complete a Technology Support Request Form and submit it to the Librarian. As problems arise, the CRAs troubleshoot and fix the technological problems. CRAs also research technological upgrades and explore new technologies and submit equipment and software purchase recommendations to the technology committee.
Technology Committee
The technology committee is made up of administrators, teachers, CRAs and students at La Quinta. This committee meets quarterly to discuss our technology needs and upcoming purchases. In the fall of 2006 the Technology Committee researched and proposed purchasing new computers for the 200 lab and the multimedia graphic arts lab. This is the first phase of a multiphase campus wide technology upgrade. The technology committee continually seeks improvements and upgrades that will benefit students and maximize learning.
